HCP/Patient Intersections Breakout Session
Livestream Recording Coming Soon!
On April 24, the DHC Group hosted a breakout during the DTC National Conference, focusing on innovations at the intersection of HCP and patient engagement. With a full room of engaged marketers and an interactive virtual audience, we explored how technology and data-driven approaches are reshaping meaningful patient-provider interactions.
Areas of focus included:
- The new reality that mastery of patient experience is not a nice-to-have. Today’s consumer expects personalization options whenever they interact with a brand or business.
- Touchpoints across the patient journey should be synchronized. Marketers should consider how silos in the organization and patient/HCP marketing plans may be creating a disjointed experience in the patient journey, slowing down the time to diagnosis and treatment.
- Integrated data is critical in creating more meaningful HCP-patient interactions. Data is unlocking what’s possible in terms of true omnichannel, making it possible for pharma to even orchestra messaging leading up to an HCP-patient encounter.
- The new digital healthcare delivery that spans telehealth, patient portals, EHRs, digital front doors, and direct-to-patient platforms. Patients and HCPs intersection is not a singular occurrence at a singular location.
